Just wondering which bottles you ladies have used for a really colicky baby?

Dr Browns.
Expensive but well worth it IMO.

Another vote for Dr Browns. Absolute bitch to clean, but far les wind and puking.

Dr Browns as well. Bloody nightmare to clean, but definite improvement noted whilst using.

Although switching formula isn't something I'd want to do regularly, depending on how pukey the baby is you might also want to try something like SMA Staydown. We switched to Omneo Comfort (lower lactose) and noticed a definite improvement with that too. (In fact I am sure the sudden spike in ds' weight gain from just under 50th centile to 60th centile happened when we started on Omneo Comfort).

My other tip: do not be put off by your hv telling you "it's colic and he/she'll get over it". If you think it might be reflux, get thee to the docs and demand your Infant Gaviscon. I put up with a really bad case of reflux for weeks because I believed the hv. Spoke to a paediatrician friend of mine and she said "Gaviscon now" so I went down the GP all ready to do battle and the GP just meekly handed it over :)

Thanks ladies - not my prob thankfully a friend although My DS had first time round and I tried everything Infacol, Colycynth (homeopathic rememdy!!!) My Hv said it would pass and it lasted 6 months so don't want my friend to go through it - has already tried DR Browns - not good and also found it too time consuming to clean etc - will certainly pass on info for SMA staydown which I have never heard of!! and the Gaviscon - poor little mite is doubled up and quite obviously in pain which is stressing out mum and so the vicious circle starts!!
Thanks girls will let you know what works!!!
