Just that.

DD is nearly 13 months old.

Not in any hurry but concerned it will come on suddenly when unprepared!

Is DD bf? My periods came back at about 12 months when DS had dropped his feeds to about 3 a day. Suppose it depends how much she's still feeding but then I have friends who's periods started after 2 months whilst ebf so I suppose everyone's different.
I kept sanitary towels and tampons in my change bag from 6 months on just in case!

DD stopped feeding at 11 months and 6 days later I had my period. Some friends had Periods from about 6 months even though they were still feeding regularly.

Sorry, that's no help at all!! Wink

I am still feeding my 21 month old twins, probably 4 times each in 24 hours ( though all overnight). So that's 8 feeds, all overnight but none in the day (I'm at work). My periods returned at 18 months and have been regular as clockwork and the same as pre-children ever since.

Mine came back when DD was about 12 and a half months old, it coincided with the fact that gone back to work (albeit part time) so for a couple of days a week I was going for longer spells without giving her a feed, not site if that's why but it kind of makes sense

Exactly the same as mamjo - stopped BF at 11 months and then next week later had my first period. DD had only been on one feed per 24 hrs for the last 3 wks or so and I really don't think she had been taking that much as I didn't get even a hint of engorgement or soreness once I stopped
