After some quick advice please

My 8 month old son is teething badly at the moment and will not go anywhere near his bottle. He usually has four 6 oz bottles a day and at the moment im lucky to get one of these down him all day...this has been going on for about 4 days now.

I have been trying to get the milk down him any way possible, mixed in with food etc but he's off his food a bit too. have tried giving it to him in a cup as the teat is obviously uncomfortable for him but this is pretty ineffective too. Have been offering him juice but again, wont have it.

Im a bit worried now that he is not getting enough fluids does anyone have any advice or reassurance they can offer please? i would be really grateful thanks x

My DD did exactly the same. She too was teething and came down with a cold! Don't worry it will past. For 2 whole weeks she refused to eat anything!! The only way I got her to have any bf was to feed her to sleep otherwise she just kept biting me. Calpol really helped along with bonjela! I kept offering cold water in a beaker which she took too! When she was over the worst of it all she returned to her normal self!! I'm not lookin forward to more teething as it was pretty stressful so you completely have my sympathy.
