For you or for the baby? Your HV might give you better advice but I used to take Pregnacare for me and once my DS came up to 6 months I gave him Abidec Vitamin drops.

No harm in taking vitamins, but apart from Vitamin D you don't need to take supplements for breastfeeding unless there's a problem with your diet or medical condition that means you are deficient. Same goes for the baby.

Maybe speak to your HV?

Sorry, meant for me. There seems to be about 6 pregnacare ones that are for breastfeeding as well and i wondered which ones are the best?

I didn't take anything. A reasonable daytime diet (plus many cake bars in the wee small hours) sorted me twice for eighteen months each time.

I don't take any either; just eat well!

I take the pregnacare original and 7month DD takes abidec vitamin drops. I considered the wellkid baby drops but it was a 2.5ml dose whereas abidec is only 0.3ml or 0.6ml depending on age so less liquid to get down her although she's doing a lot better taking it now, her chin gets a lot less yellow than it used to :)

I take pregnacare too. Tbh I've needed a supplement much more post partum than in pregnancy. Its been exhausting & a strain on my body having a LO.

I take vit D with bf in mind (ie I wouldn't take it otherwise). B complex I've taken for years to help with low mood/energy. Zinc I previously took for same reason, stopped, now started again for pp anal fissure (yuck). Also magnesium for fissure. Occasional Spatone 'just in case'. But my only real bf thing is vit D.
