SMA Lactose Free causing hard stool - any advice?

Hi All

My little girl has been on SMA LF milk for a few weeks now and her stool has been a more solid form ever since.

She doesn't seem to bothered by it but I would prefer her to be doing more easy loose poo's.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Does she still need the lactose-free milk, MrBlk? Unusual for babies to be on this long term....LI in babies is usually temporary and formula-fed babies who have been diganosed with it can normally return to regular formula. What does your HV say?

she's 10 weeks old today, Doc said will review at 17 weeks, it doesn't seem like lactose intolerance just a sensitive gut.

Give doc a call, then, or speak to HV....you can bring the review in sooner :)

Formula fed baby poos are more solid than breastfed baby poos; is this what you are comparing it to?
