Sickness bug

Help! I've got a sickness bug from DD1's nursery. I literally can't keep anything down, food or drink, but need to feed DD2. Anyone got any bright ideas? Will I still make milk if I don't eat or drink anything?

Poor you marathonmama!

We were talking about just this last weekend here

I had D&V for a couple of days last weekend. Your milk supply should be fine, but beware that you are likely to get even more dehydrated because of nursing, so try and at least sip water as much as possible if you can. Once you can keep something down, probably a good idea to get some rehydration solution from the chemist. I had the most headsplittingly awful dehydration headache for the first day.

Hope you feel better soon.

Oh god that was me from last weekend - you have my absolute sympathies, it really is horrible. But you will survive. Just try if at all possible to get other people to do as much as they can for you, including taking LO after feeds to settle them while you sleep. Get well soon!
