Aptamil cartons - do they help with reflux?

My 11week old has reflux. Has all the meds but for a couple of feeds over the weekend we used aptamil ready made cartons rather than the powder. She seemed to be less sick. Has anyone else found this, or was it a couple of good feeds?

I have heard people say that the powder formula tends to have some little bits of undissolved powder which catches the back if the mouth/throat and makes them gag, and therefore sick a bit more often than the ready made, nothing to do with reflux... No experience myself though so maybe someone else will be able to give more advice, sorry!

I have a feeling my DS prefers Aptamil cartons to Aptamil powder. No matter how much I stir the powder in there are always minute bits of sand-like granules on the side of the bottle. He will still drink it bit he definitely hoovers cartons with a greater gusto. Sometimes I even think he prefers it to my EBM.
