FF- do I bother with the smaller size bottles?

Another question from me about FF! I have bought some MAM bottles, I got a starter set at a very good price, so have two tiny bottles, two medium (up to 5.5 oz) and 4 large (up to 9oz). However there are only 4 "bottoms" so you can combine them, but I think I need to be able to have at least six. I am going to buy a couple more, but wondering whether to buy the medium size ones (rationale being that when they are taking smaller amounts is when I will need more bottles) or to get larger ones straight off.

I think six bottles, which is what you've got if you ignore the small ones. We never needed more than that for DS who is 9 m and ff from the start.

Meant to say six is enough. Trying to feed and type!

Yes, but it is actually only 4 because there are only 4 bottoms to the bottles (they are the anti colic ones) so was going to get two more so that I had six working ones. If that makes any sense at all!

Forget the smaller bottles. U end up needing larger ones anyway...they stay on the smaller feeds for a relatively short time and so need smaller bottles become redundant v. quickly.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Honestly I used to be able to make decisions for myself...

I wouldn't worry. I am sure there was a time when I could actually read a question properly. Grin

see my dd is 18mths and i still use some of the small ones for her! she never wanted more than 4-5oz at a time ever! so they all vary, i somehow liked the little bottles, i use avent ones and they had some 5oz ones so i have one of those. i dont know why but i prefer to hold the little bottle, maybe it just feels like she is still a little baby then? Blush she just has 2 or 3 feeds of 4oz a day, ie morning, before nap and then before bedtime.

but yes you need to have 6 working bottles i agree, havinga few small and then the rest big makes sense, if you want more small later you can always get them?
