I would just do it slowly, maybe drop 1 BF / week? And replace with cow's milk obviously Smile.

Does your DC already drink cow's milk from a cup? How often do they BF / day?

The amount she bf can really vary the past week or so she is taking every opportunity she can to bf in the afternoon it seems like she can be on and off every 30 minutes if im around. If im busy preparing dinner or somethig she just gets on with it. We were down to 3 feeds around a month ago morning night and around 4pm.
Im planning on no feeds between breakfast and lunch the next few days. She drinks plenty of water from a beaker but generally has a sip of milk and turfs the beaker. I am trying to persist with the beaker she shakes her head if I try giving it to her, so trying to make sure it is always close by.

DS hardly drank any cows milk from a cup when he started going to the CM when he was nearly 1. Now at nearly 2, he drinks lots of cows milk (he still BFs in the morning and at night as well). It's really difficult, I remember worrying about this a lot. We just made sure that he ate lots of cheese, yoghurt etc when he didn't drink a lot of cows milk during the day.
