Hi, DS is 4 weeks old and I have a few vest tops with poppers down the front, or ones that I can pull down under my boob, but I can't seem to find anything nice to wear that has easy access for feeding. I still need to get my whole boob out to feel like I am latching him on properly ! Can you recomment anything please, because I can't seem to find anything online, and getting out to the shops is a bit impossible at the moment. thank you :)

You don't need BF tops. Vest underneath to pull down Nader boob, bigger top over to lift up.

Under boob

Yep, I also use a vest underneath a normal top and pull one down and one up. Or just put my sling around my waist to hide my stomach.

M&S sell stretchy cami tops in various colours, mine lasted ages before they needed replacing. I tried the Primark ones but they shrank the first time I washed them.

I'm struggling to find tops to wear on top this time (I use the same technique). I had some good jersey tunic things with DS but can't seem to find much around this time. Not that I'm getting to the shops much Hmm

H&M nursing tops have done me proud. £19.99 for a twin-pack and they come in either black & white or navy & navy/white stripes. A sort of v-neck t-shirt with extra panel.

BananaPie · 05/07/2012 19:57

Mamafeelsgood.com is good - they just look like normal tops rather than having the weird half layer thing going on

auntietomum · 05/07/2012 21:39

I have lived in the h&m tops too. Wash well and v stretchy so you can also pull the whole thing up very easily.

I got a mama scarf which I find indispensable!

TheSurgeonsMate · 06/07/2012 12:18

I had t-shirts from a brand called Boob which were very uncomplicated and easy to use. They do have a line across the middle rether than some more "subtle" arrangement of flaps, but for ease of access they couldn't be faulted. They were pretty pricey.

drivingmisspotty · 06/07/2012 12:22

I am currently using breastvests as I couldn't manage the flaps either, and highly recommend. Will look at those H&M tops, though, sound good.
