DD keeps hicupping after BF

Although very sweet, our one week dd keeps hicupping after feeds which keeps her awake, irratated and eventually very cranky. Any advice?

I'm sure it's not the right thing to do but I always stuck dd and ds back on for a minute as it seemed to interrupt the hiccups and then stop it like having a drink I suppose !! HTH
