Hi there :)
After a bit of advice really. My little boy is 7 weeks old and the past three days has been quite pukey, after each feed, not necessarily with wind, some quite good amounts-several times has been a cupped handful/full soaked outfit. (not projectile- doesnt seem like p.stenosis).

When he was about 2 weeks old he was quite pukey, we put it down to windiness caused by nipple shields, i winded him lots and it resolved, just back to little possets.

He is ebf, using shields, and i think i might be a bit oversupplied. I have a speedy letdown (shields will spontaneously drip/i can see a stream shoot out of nipple sometimes). He often has a bit of a choke/splutter during feeds- i think just coming too quick for him but is happy enough and goes back on.He feeds on demand, something like two hourly in day cluster feeds around 9-12midnight, feeds 3am/6:30am. Feeds seem to be shorter the last few days corresponding with the longer night sleeps so am wondering if he is just more efficient feeder now.

He sleeps very well at night from 12-3 then til 6:30/7 last few nights but rarely sleeps for very long in the day- he tends to just nap for 30mins here and there. Sometimes if we go out in the car/pram he may have a 3hr sleep. He often look tired but wakes up within a short while of being put down- perhaps a different thread there!

Generally he is a happy boy, although the last couple of days he has been a bit grumpier/crying a bit more- which is making me wonder if its related to the puking?! Although perhaps then im putting him on the boob more as he's crying more, and perpetuating the problem. He has loads of wet and dirty nappies, yellow stools, looks healthy, gaining weight on centile.

Any thoughts?

Is he still restricted? It can reattach after being snipped.

Does he have a lip tie? That can affect breastfeeding too, even when tt has been done.

Leaning back when the flow is fast might help as it will be going against gravity.
