When to start Expressing?

Hi,

When is it recommended to be ok to start expressing milk? I cannot for the life of me remember when we introduced a bottle of expressed milk to DS!! I have about 4 weeks in my head for some reason?

its meant to be around 4-6wks my HV told me.

I want to BF again but i want to be able to mix it up so everybody can help out. But your meant to wait 4-6wks until theyve got it completely sussed.

I started at 8 days and have been doing it most of the time since apart from a one week break when I had some over-supply issues going on. It is the main thing that has made me better able to cope with bf on demand. DS takes a bottle a day happily and I get some sleep and DP enjoys having a chance to feed him.
