Is this overly paranoid?

Due to the steam rising from the water in the bottles when I am making them up the milk powder sticks to the scoop and it is therefore very difficult to be accurate - is this an issue? X

You can count the scoops out into a clean/sterlised pot and then decant the whole pot into the bottle. That way you don't get steam in the powder and if you lose count you can just tip the powder back in the tub and start again.
