feeding lying down

For the last few nights dd has woken nearly every hour squirmy and kicking and straining. Generally sounding uncomfortable. She doesn't cry but kicks like crazy. She doesn't do this at all in the day and previous been a brilliant sleeper. We co sleep and for the last couple of weeks I feed her to sleep lying down. Do you think this is causing gas and making her uncomfortable? I like feeding lying down as we both just fall asleep but is it causing problems? She is 11 weeks and ebf.

fee, I feed my 11 week old ds lying down but recently have been sitting him up afterwards. I don't even have to rub his back most times, the burp is pretty instant! He does the thing with his legs too,and thrashes his head from side to side. A quick burp sorts it all out and doesn't wake him up.
