Hand expressing - quick question

DS is 6m and I have a work day on Thursday so was hoping to express some milk and let him tuck into that whilst I'm out.

I tried expressing using a pump with my DD and never got on with it and the amounts made all that hard work seem so pointless soooo, I thought I would give hand expressing a whirl. My question is whether I need to sterlise the bowl I am using or should I just clean with boiling water? Given DS' age, I was planning on using a sippy cup or doidy cup for the actual feed - do these need sterilising?

Am just hoping expressing by hand helps me get more out as the pumped quantities really were pitiful!

You don't need to sterilise anything with breast milk

Hot soapy water with air drying is fine
