BF to sleep for ME!

Ok right, well on Thursday and Friday night, 6.5 m/o DD actually slept through. Something she very, very rarely does.

Last night she went back to waking at 12 and 4am. The thing is, on the Thur / Fri night, I really didn't sleep very well and last night, though it was interrupted, I slept fine! I'm now wondering if I've become reliant on those BF hormones to get myself off to sleep! Anyone else?

Tbh I think it just hard to adjust to a change in sleeping patterns it always took me a while to adjust whenever ds dropped a feed as you wake expecting them to be awake. I wouldn't worry too much once they start sleeping through regularly you do too. Then its once again disturbing if they do wake at night like when they are ill.

Think it is perfectly normal. When either of mine slept more than usual I always felt far worse in the morning.

Agree with the previous posters, when you finally sleep well you feel jet-lagged for a good few days!

I've always had insomnia and I really appreciated those sleepy breastfeeding hormones!
