bf baby yellow/orange tongue mystery

Hi,

My DD has had an orange/yellow coating on her tongue for 2 weeks now.
It rubs off a bit but not all of it.

I noticed it shortly after I started taking some antibiotics and called the OOH GP who said the only thing they could think of was thrush.
She was very fussy with feeding so I thought this could be right and started on daktarin oral gel for her and cream for me. We have been using them for nearly 2 weeks and it is still there, maybe slightly better than it was.

I have an appointment with my own GP tomorrow.
I called the BFN drugs helpline to ask what I should be asking for and the advisor said that it may not be thrush (as the daktarin has not worked) and we should get her tongue swabbed, which I will ask the GP to do.

Has anyone ever come across yellow or orange tongue in a BF baby before or any other ideas as to what it might be if it is not thrush?

DD is 3.5 months.

TIA

I have three theories:
Thrush first and foremost, esp with antibiotic history. Could be confirmed or otherwise by swabbing.
Chromogenic bacteria colonisation ( simply bacteria imbalance following antib's and the tongue is being colonised by 'colourful' bacteria)
I have heard anecdotally of orange tongue being a sign of reflux.
