Painful feeding

My DS is 3 weeks tomorrow and ebf which is going really well.
However since this morning I've had shooting pains in my left boob when feeding and can feel 4 little lumps a bit smaller than pea size in different places.

I'm just after some advice as to what this is and if I keep feeding through the pain on that side or just feed from one side?

TIA

I am no expert but it could be blocked ducts. When I had this I got my DD to feed from the sore side and when she did I massaged the lumps. I tried to ensure that the boob was completely empty. This worked for me.

I'm sure someone with more experience will be along to help soon!

It does sound like blocked ducts, most important thing is to keep feeding.

Massage is good, as is heat, so maybe try a warm bath or a warm flannel on it.

Another vote for blocked ducts here. I get them a lot and usually they go after a couple of feeds but sometimes it takes more to sort. Try hot flannels or even dipping that side in a bowl of hot water, different positions and keep feeding. I also found the nct phoneline had some more suggestions if you're still struggling.
And you have my sympathy - blocked ducts are so painful!
