Feeling stupid and guilty about this

Running late for the childminder this morning and realised I had an ounce less of EBM for DD (19weeks)'s bottle than I should have. So I topped it up with an ounce of milk from one of those ready made formula cartons - except that it was a carton of Hungry Baby milk that DP bought by mistake ages ago.
DD does take a very occasional bottle of formula (never more than 3oz) when away from me, but I'm just feeling really guilty about the hungry milk. Is it going to taste foul mixed with EBM, and might it give her a stomach ache or constipation?

Or am I just being ridiculously PFB - it was only an ounce?
Has anyone else ever done this? I need to be more organised.

Please don't feel guity about this. It won't make her constipated as she is getting lots of lovely ebm from you. Babies who are exclusively fed hungry baby milk sometimes get constipation, but its not all babies.

Also, the calorie content is no different from ordinary formula, it is just harder to digest so will leave her feeling fuller for longer.

It's just one ounce, I'm sure she'll be fine Smile.

Don't feel guilty! Everything will be alright, as they say!

Don't feel bad - it's just one feed.

I do remember what it's like in the early days though. Feeding feels like such a massive deal!

The thing to remember is that you are doing a great job in breastfeeding anyway and don't be hard on yourself.

Thanks so much. Yes it still feeds like a big deal. The odd formula bottle now that I'm back at work doesn't bother me, but just I felt a little freaked at how different BM and hungry milk must be. I hate packing her off in that kind of half-assed way too.
She will be grand, of course, you are all right :)
