DD has always clicked her tongue when she feeds, sounds and feels like she loses suction. Her weight gain and Nappies are fine, but she never seems to settle into a deep satisfying feed- I am comparing her to DS who was a slow lazy boob monster though!
Any ideas as to what the problem might be and how to resolve it? I'd hate for her eventually to go off bf because she's annoyed with it; she does get quite annoyed with another things!

Tongue tie is the first thing that springs to mind.
It was one of the signs that DS had it - and after it was snipped, he stopped clicking, fed faster and more efficiently and everything stopped hurting so much!

Definitely no tongue tie that I can see, and no discomfort on my side... Also no thrush (that was something else suggested elsewhere...)

Some tongue ties aren't visible. DS's wasn't, it was missed by 3 HCPs and the breastfeeding consultant only found it by running her finger under his tongue - it was a partial but made a hell of a difference having it snipped.

It sounds like a problem with positioning.

Try putting her head back and putting your breast in as far as it will go.

I think that might bit it Birds, I have been working on reducing oversupply by block feeding as she's been quite windy and often chokes during a feed. We also get explosive poos and colicky evenings so this would tie in nicely with the clicking (I hadn't heard this was also a symptom). I assume it's therefore just something she'll grow out of like colic as the supply adjusts and her system gets stronger?

same here - getting our oversupply well under control now after 5wks, but still clicky/loses suction on a 'fresh' boob!
