Please can you tell me your top tips for preventing toddler jealousy while breast-feeding a new baby?
B/F is important to me, the toddler kept going til 11 1/2 months and I'd like to do the same again but not sure how to manage the clingy-ness.

I'm sure I'll be eating my words if DS (16 months) hasn't weaned by the time I give birth (due in October) but can you take it as an opportunity to cuddle/read books together? Compare body parts with the baby (here's the baby's toes, where are your toes?) perhaps give your toddler something 'special' to play with that you wouldn't normally allow?

I'm kind of hoping I can just feed both at the same time but it's like all things to do with babies and toddlers; you always have plans and things often turn out very differently!

I've bought DS a baby doll and we've been bathing it and reading it stories etc. If your toddler has one maybe s/he can 'feed' it while you feed IYSWIM
