When you fill a bottle with 4Oz of water when you add the powder to the water it goes up to about 5 - 5.5Oz's.

Would you count this as a 4Oz feed or a 5 Oz feed?

It is indeed four ounces, but not because it has four scoops in it, but because it has four ounces of water in it

The measurement is measuring the fluid, not the powder.

That's why you always have to put the water in first.
