How long before I can have a night out?

Dd is 4 and a half months old and ebf. We tried her with a bottle of expressed milk a couple of times but she wasn't having it. She feeds quit a bit at night too, not the end of the world as I just do it lying down which minimises the disturbance. But with weaning soon how long you think it will be before she can have enough from a cup/ other stuff for me to leave her for a while and have a night out? Has been a while!

I had my first night out after 27wks!! We started DD on solids at 26wks and she roughly goes to sleep at 7ish. So I bf before I went out and put her to bed and went out for dinner with some friends!! It was so nice to be out and eat in peace!! My DD refuses a bottle too so it was the only way to do it!! DD still wakes at night too and can be very unpredictable, so had to stay local just incase I needed to rush home!! Unless you do it you won't know how it will pan out!!

It was a lot easier with dd2 as I bottle fed her so going out wasn't a problem!!

my DD is nearly 5 months and i have the same problem, i have tried giving her a sippy cup with cooled boiled water in it today and she liked the cup but not the water!! pulled a face every time it went in her mouth... she loves chewing the soft spout tho... was wondering when she will stop spitting everything out! she spits out everything that doesn't come from my boobs at the moment...
