Reusing expressed milk

Have looked at kellymom and they are ambiguous about this question. Just wondered if anyone else reuses a bottle after the 4-6 hours that is generally recommended? I've only just managed to get ds2 7mo to take a bottle and he didn't finish it yesterday and cos life is so busy i'm lazy expressing is hard and i'm loathe to throw it away!

I tended to work on 1/2 bottles (because you could always get a 2nd) to avoid this problem.

I wouldn't use it if it was from yesterday tbh.

Thinking about it rationally, it does seem silly to have even thoguh about reusing yesterday's bottle. Thanks for the replies though!

And mistlethrush I will def do that next time, thanks for the tip Smile

I don't know if you've seen this particular Kellymom page. Based on that, I'd reuse for the next feed, but no I wouldn't keep beyond 4-6 hours.
