Help needed...should I express?

Ds2 is 6 weeks old and fully breastfed. He has a stinking cold (will be seeing dr today) so not fed properly last 24 hrs. He had been doing little and often which I thought would be fine. He has not managed to feed overnight so last little feed was 8pm last night. I have woken up quite engorged so clearly he has not been taking his normal amount.

With dc1 I had huge problems expressing and got myself stressed about it so decided to avoid it if possible this time however should I now express to keep my supply up?

Thanks in advance

I found if I worried about expressing it was really difficult and if I didn't it was fine (ie if I said I've got to get a certain amount it was awful but if it was a 'well I could stick some in the freezer' it was no problem). You might make yourself more comfortable?

I would express. The last thing you want is to end up ill with mastituess if hes not feeding. Try salin drop or milk up his nose to help clear it. Hope hes better soon.
