Hi,

dd2 refuses to take a bottle (or sippy cup) of expressed or formula milk. I have tried every bottle/teat out there - tommy tippee, avent, dr browns, breast flow, nuk, supermarket own, mam to name some.

I just don't know what else to do. I have to leave her for an afternoon and evening in a few days and I don't know how I can make it work.

Has anyone else had the same experience? I'm in desperate need of a success story....or some tips or tricks!

Thanks

how many hours do you plan to be out?

if it was a whole day, then it would def. be fine. care giver might have to do a load of driving/buggy walking. Not sure how you think your LO would go to bed without bedtime feeds or what time you would be returning. I've left DS for 7 hours once at 6 months old. Would be happy leaving 8-9 hours now he is 7 months. Happy going for an evening out provided I did a feed around 6pm but that's me.

Hi,

Thanks for your advice.

I would be leaving around 11am and getting home at about 10 pm so would miss her 6pm bedtime feed. I've never not been home for the bedtime feed before...

She is a fab eater so I know that she wouldn't be hungry but it's always been her routine so i'm not sure how she will react. Maybe i'll get my husband to try and put her down while i'm here to see how it goes...

I just wish she would take a bottle for times like these...
