15 month growth spurt?

DS has spent the last three nights attached to my breast. He is also feeding lots more during the day. Is this a growth spurt? Is it common at this age?

Is he teething maybe? Or coming down with something?

hazchem · 20/05/2012 16:12

Maybe. He's just had 4 molars come in about 2 weeks ago. I was hoping for at least a month between new sets of teeth.
Oh and he has been exposed to chicken pox (not on purpose I'm still a lotlittle cross about the chicken pox exposure)
Could it be the pox?

Tough to say, it could be any number of things! You'll be able to spot before anyone else what's up with him, you're the expert Grin Chicken pox is doing the rounds here at the moment too.

Just another wait and see. Really hoping we get a little more sleep tonight

Well whatever it is, you can guarantee it won't last long- it will pass :) Fingers crossed for a better night for you.

hazchem I just came on to post exactly the same. DS is normally a very efficient feeder but at the moment just wants to nurse constantly. I got up at 2.30am last night as he wanted feeding and didn't get back to bed until 3. (and he wasn't too impressed with me going back then) - normally he'd be done and dusted in 15 minutes.

I'm hoping it is a growth spurt and will be over soon.

hazchem - how are you doing now? DS still taking ages to settle and wanting to nurse for a long time.
