My 'Womanly Art...' book says 8 days. Really? That seems like quite a while...

I remember the midwide telling me and it was longer than I would have thought- I think about a week. I used to use mine within 2 days- and freeze if longer?

Kellymom website great for all breast feeding qs. I left mine 5d but some say if it doesn't smell (or taste) off, go for it.

5 days, but not in the door.

BfN leaflet

Most fridges are between 5-10C, so 3 days is recommended. If you have a fridge thermometer and yours is below 4C then 8 days is fine. It should be at the back at the bottom, and never in the door.

remembers smell of milk in bottle I left in the changing bag overnight
