Ds is 7+1 and is taking a variable amount every time he wants it. He can guzzle 180ml every hour and a half or the same amount every 2-3 or 80ml every hour if that makes sense? He is all over the place and as I have dd 18ms and dd9 at school (school runs) I really need to try and establish some kind of routine as tbh I feel as though I am losing the battle here. I really need some good advice as feeling like a bad mum atm

I think your saying he is 8 days old? If so it's really very very early to establish a routine. That doesn't make you a bad mum! It really really doesn't. A tired mum, an exhausted mum, a frustrated mum but really not a bad!

Do you have some family or friends that might be able to offer you some more support? Is your partner able to do the school run in the morning?
Could you try to hold the newborn in a sling? that way you have a bit more hands free time with 18 month old. Could your partner prepare your and the 18 month olds lunch before leaving. so you can grab it.

I'm not much help sorry.

You aren't a bad mum.

What happens when you do school run - does he grizzle scream for a feed?

Albeit that I don't have other children and I bf, I have never had any routine and when asked how many feeds she has I can't answer because I don't count them.

Plans have to be flexible and I have to stop and feed in the car sometimes.

Cam family/DP help with school runs?
