DD is 7 months old and has started to be quite nippy whilst feeding. She has twice this week bitten me hard enough to draw a little blood and my nipples are pretty bruised :( Any tips? Any ideas on how to help her stop biting? Some of the problem is teething, I think. Plus boredom or tiredness/not really wanting to feed when it's offered. It's causing us both to be upset, however, and is making me very anxious around feeding time :( MPD

Sad Try some gel on her gums before a feed. And try to read her behaviour more- if you see her bored, distract her. If she does clamp down, try not to react (they love that game!). Gently remove her and tell her no biting. She will eventually get the message! Take painkillers in the meantimeWink.
