Question re mastitis

DD is 21mo, she still has a feed morning and night, which varies from 5-10min and occasionally a swift nap snack. I am going away after her feed on Wednesday night and won't see her again till Saturday lunchtime.

I have had mastitis once when DD was a year old. I haven't had engorged breasts for some time now. I am unsure wether to take my pump or wether ti just hand express if I get uncomfortable during the time I am away from DD.

Advice welcome.

I left my son overnight when he was thsi age and he was just feeding twice , I was full but didn't get engorged, however the first thing I did when I got home was to feed him!!! If you can hand express it would be easier than taking a pump.
