How long for milk to dry up?

Bit sore as 12 mth old DD has self weaned off the breast. Was down to 1 or 2 feeds at night so I'm not too uncomfortable! I wondered how long it usually takes for the milk to dry up?

I stopped in similar circumstances, first week off was ok, 2nd week was more sore (pain moved from back of breast towards nipple over a few days) - I imagined this was all the milk bits really going after realising it wasn't just a temporary break!

So 2 weeks in my experience (though 6 months down the line I still get a tiny drop if I squeeze my nipple)

Thanks milkjetmum. I guess I'll just wait and see, only been 48 hours so I'm feeling a bit full and sore! Last time my milk dried quite early on, after bad advice whilst I was struggling to establish BFing, so never experienced this!
