Do Avent make an electric breastpump? I have looked in Boots and Mcare and only seen there hand pump. Is it only Medela who make electric pumps and are they any good/better than the Avent hand pump? Thank you

Avent doesn't: and you'll get varying views on the different pumps, I'm afraid! I've tried both and am back with the Avent myself.

Chas - do a search as this is regularely discussed... you will read many people's experience.
I love the Medela one personally.

Avent used to do an electric pump, I saw one on Ebay a while back, but checked with Avent and they stopped doing them when they brought out the Isis hand pump.

I used both the Avent and the Medela pumps and preferred the Avent, it's just a matter of trial and error. I strted with the Avent pump, as it was the only one our local chemist had, and quite liked it. I was lent a Medela pump to try and didn't find it nearly as effective, plus it didn't fit my Avent botttles, so I had to do loads of decanting.
