So after trying infacol, Colief, being told to just 'deal with it' I now have infant gaviscon. It's a right gaff making it up for immediately after a feed. So what I want to know is can u make it in advance?! Ie make it at the end of one feed ready for the start of the next 3-4 hrs later?!

I'm making it with cooled boiled water n then giving it via a syringe then feed as normal

it IS such a pain. don't think you are supposed to advance it otherwise they would provide it like that.
When baby is full they don't really want it either do they. I used to put in one expressed bottle before bed as the most important one and then used only when I thought I couldn't hold up for over 30 mins or if big feed and felt I had the time and baby would take. Can you get anyone to mix it for you while you feed? It won't be forever.

My 3 week old ds is on gaviscon and I give it at the 'half way point' when I wind him. I also got these little pots from boots that hold 1oz (they are yellow and green) these are perfect for taking 10ml of cooled boiled water out with you and then just mixing when out. I then just give it with a syringe. This seems to work for us.

Can't do it in advance as it kind of thickens and conceals

Bugger. Thanks guys. I'll just have to be super organised. In an evening/weekend it's great cos I have dh with me. Just during the day is a pain'
