Gaviscon in EBM baby can't suck milk through the bottle

When breastfeeding DD I gave infant gaviscon by syringe with water, but since feeding with a bottle I have been putting it in bottle. With formula milk this is no problem and DD guzzles the bottle fine. However, if the bottle contains EBM she doesn't seem to be able to suck the milk out. I find this so bizzarre as I didn't think gaviscon affected the milk until it was digested but if bottle contains only EBM with no gaviscon she drinks it fine. Wondered if this has happened to anyone else before? Thanks

The gaviscon must be changing the taste or texture, best bet would be to syringe it when using expressed milk, better than having it go to waste :(!

We're in gaviscon too. If she has a bottle of ebm she still has it via syringe after
