DD is bottle fed and 3 months. Some days it is almost impossible to get her to eat although she signals that she is hungry with all her usual mannerisms. Today she ate 0.5oz at a time then screamed and screamed. She's still screaming. In between screams she naps and plays quite happily, then remembers that she's hungry :( - cue screaming.

The only thing that even remotely works is waiting until she is asleep then gently introducing the bottle into her mouth (fine until she wakes up).

Probably one day in every three is like this and I am nonplussed.

DH is currently wheeling her around the block in the stroller with a bottle in his back pocket and earplugs.

She will normally take 2.5oz every 2 hours or 3 oz every 2.5 hours. Only once has she taken 4 oz at once.

Any advice or tips gratefully received. Thanks

Has she got a y other symptoms? Runny throat? Temperature? Sounds like she may have a bug of some sorts.

Meant runny nose or sore throat lol

No, no temp or runny nose. This has been going on every couple of days for about three weeks (!).

Lots of drooling and fist sucking so maybe teething?

I guess it could be early teething. DS (20 weeks) started gnawing and drooling like mad around the same time and now has two brand new teeth to show for it. He didn't struggle to feed but I've heard that some babies do. Hope you find a solution soon

PS Just wanted to add that the teething symtoms came and went with him too.
