I'm giving up bf-ing this month - my DD is 8 months old and I'm heading back to work soon, and she's also mastered drinking from a sippy cup so can neatly avoid the bottle stage!
I was just having a nostalgic moment thinking of my battles with bf-ing, and its no exaggeration to say that I would have given up bf much much earlier if hadn't been for all of you MNers on the feeding forum. I spent so many hours reading threads, and got so much encouragement and advice.
So I'd like to thank all you experts out there who give such helpful advice, all the breastfeeding newbies like me who posted questions which made me think 'ooh, I've been wondering that too', and to all those people who have far far worse problems than I did when it comes to bf-ing but who are nevertheless perservering with it, which made me realise that if you can do it, then so can I!
So didn't want to leave the feeding forum without saying thanks!
