weight gain stopping BF

Hi everyone,
I am finally making some progress with switching from BF to bottles. DS (10mo) is at nursery full time now and I am back at work. I work shifts in the hospital so my schedule is a bit random. I wanted to move to bottles for two reasons:

  1. So he gets adequate fluids at nursery - initially we had trouble with introducing the bottle and when he started nursery he took basically nothing all day. He was so distressed and I was up all night (literally 5-6x) feeding.
  2. DS has cows milk protein allergy and I am on a dairy free diet which I hate and is bad for my nutrition as I am veggie already.
DS is now taking some milk at nursery and I am only really doing feeds overnight (about 2x 10mins), bedtime and waking up (about 10mins) if I am not at work. I have put on 2kg in the past month - nothing else has changed in my lifestyle so it must be the reduction in feeding. Obv 2kg is not a major issue but I don't want it to continue too far! I was kind of hoping it would tail off. Anyone had weight change experiences stopping feeding?

Cant' help Im afraid. I found the opersit the less I fed the easier it was to losse the baby weight.

Yep i'm like MigGril! DS 8mo is feeding less so my appetite is shrinking. Haven't lost any yet but i've stopped putting it on!

Uhmm. May just have to see what happens...not noticed any change in my appetite yet..
