Please?

Even if you are lying through gritted teeth (which is how I am feeding atm).

DS is 18mo and I am about 7 weeks. It is agony. Like he if sucking ground glass. Not to mention I am getting horrendous nauset & lightheadedness during the evening feeds.

I am close to giving up.

Can anyone share the pain, or motivate me to carry on?

Congratulations! It DOES get better, I promise! DS also 18 months and the pain has def gone now (am 24 weeks) Think it lasted until about 10-12 weeks but some days were a lot worse than others. Good luck!

Oh thank you. I am losing the will to live a bit here. Did your supply tail off at all in the first few weeks?

I think my supply has gone now. I haven't been able to express since about 6 months so can't tell for sure, DS doesn't seem to be put off anyway!

Congratulations!

IME though, it never did improve. I had excruciating breast pain from day one of conception to when we finally called it a day when I was 6 months gone. DS was 22 months so didn't feel too bad but I had really wanted him to stop of his own accord. We were only doing a bedtime feed by the time I stopped and he didn't miss it at all, and now his sister his here he's very keen on reminding everyone that it's baby milk!

Most people do notice a big improvement after the first trimester though - fingers crossed for you...
