bf to sleep now biting :-(

DD 14 months has pretty much always been breastfed to sleep didnt really bother me too much but she has now started biting me a lot. It is becomig very difficult for me to get her to sleep this way, we have had biting before and managed to stop it but the biting has been going on for a month or more on and off and I have no idea how to stop. just wonderig if anyone else who has been here has any ideas.

Why do you think she is biting?
Is it because she's teething?
Is it because she's playing and enjoying your reaction?
Could it be because she's ready to wean?

Initially i thought it was due to teething but now a month and a half down the line im not sure i think we might have an incisor breaking through, but not certain until it actuall appears. I try not to react to the biting i just take her off and ignore her more recently the bitig is as she is comig off the breast and she basically drags her teeth accross my nipple. She may be ready for weaning but she still asks for the feeds so i doubt it
