This will be the forth time i have had it now. My problem is that i get it every time my dd decides she is going to change the frequency of her feeds. she is 20 months old. I had it the first time when i went back to uni and she went from feeding lots through the day to not at all. They became very engorged and sore etc. My question is ... how do i stop it happening every time she changes how often she feeds. is this just going to happen every time?

Express if she feeds less to stop your boobs getting engorged

Haven't really got anything to add, just well done for getting to 20 months especially as you've been unlucky enough to get mastitis 4 times.
