Problems moving from breast to bottle

I am trying to move my DD onto more bottles, she was EBF for about 3 months and since then has been mix fed, often taking a bottle with no problems at all. But in the last couple of days she has been either refusing the bottle point blank, or only taking it after I've given her some breast first. I wondered if those Tommy Tippee bottles which are supposed to be more 'boob shaped' might work? We use Avent ones at the moment. Any advice? It would be very much appreciated.

How old is your DD? We moved to beakers or breast at 9 months ish.

She's nearly 5 months, so not started weaning yet, or it would not be as much of an issue I don't think.

My dd (only 7wo) didn't like avent bottles either, but has taken to the tommee tippee ones really well. She seems to be able to latch on in the same way as she does on the boob, and doesn't get frustrated as she does with the avent ones. Do you know anyone who can lend you a bottle, so you can try before you buy?

That's interesting to hear - I don't know anyone who has them but may seriously consider buying some anyway, it's always worth a try!

Definitely worth a go. Good luck!

My DD has been taking expressed milk out of a bottle since she was 4 weeks old and all of sudden she has just refused!! We use the avant bottles too. Do you think I should try the tommy tippee too? I'm starting to panic as supposed to be having an afternoon away from her soon. She is 24 weeks old.
