Both breasts feel warm - what could this be?

DD is 17 days old and ebf. This evening both breasts have felt warm/hot all over. No other symptoms/problems. Have removed bra and it's improved. Was it that my bra was badly fitting? I'm on hunt for a comfortable bra and tried 3 different places but still looking for ideal one. Also DD been nursing virtually constantly today, could it be linked to that? Thanks

Congratulations on your new DD Thanks.

If you have no other symptoms I think it could be that your bra is too tight too, especially as its improved now you've taken it off.

Could you try sleeping without it? If you leak you could put a folded bath towel underneath your sheet to soak it up.

Where have you tried for bras already? Have you seen if your local nct has a volunteer bra fitter?

Hi, hope you are feeling better still. If symptoms persist/return, Google mastitis, you may develop more symptoms which could point to it being that. Usually easily treated with paracetamol/hot shower/compress

Thanks, sorry for delay in replying. Been to John Lewis for some properly fitting bras today - much better! Boobs still feel warm when full, cool down when they're empty. Was wondering about engorgement/mastitis but still no other symptoms.

Glad you are feeling happier with your new bras.
