Blocked duct and expressing

HI - I am long term expressing and now have a blocked duct in one breast... I am massaging it and continuing to express from it every 2 and a half hours but it is not clearing... does anyone have a solution and ideas to try..... I am not getting as much milk from this side.... help...

I also had a blocked duct whilst long term expressing :( . I found massaging whilst in a hot shower helped, as did massaging whilst expressing. I had to be quite firm with the massage, it wasn't comfortable. It sounds like you're doing this already tho. If it doesn't clear soon go see a midwife/breast-feeding consultant etc. It's best to get it checked out. Hope it gets better soon. Good on you for keeping up with the expressing - it's hard work

Not that I m aware... However I have found out that wrong size breast shield. This can affect how you let down etc. Have ordered new shields.. Will be here on Wednesday.. What does the white blob mean?
