My ds has had severe reflux since birth, I tried gaviscon (baby) I tried sma staydown, ranitidine! I then paid £250 to see a consultant paediatrician because my ds was losing weight and centiles. He prescribed a much higher dose of ranitidine and Carabel. Carabel appears to be the solution! Although ds is still being sick its nowhere as frequent or as projectile!
I hope this post helps moms that are also dealing with severe reflux because I know how horrid it is....can't go anywhere without 10 bibs and muslins! I honestly thought ds had pyloric stenosis.
