Poo frequency / curry!

My 20 wo twins are mixed fed, about 50:50 bm and ff. Usually they poo once a day or sometimes every two days. Its soft when it comes and they don't seem in pain so GP and HV both unconcerned by this

Last night I had a chicken korma as was feeling lazy and could not be bothered to cook. Have just changed my 6th dirty nappy of the day (3 each)! Its not diarreah (sp), should I assume this is just the curry, or should I be worried about this?

Hello,

It's very unlikely that you eating a curry has caused this so I wouldn't worry about having to cut things out of your diet. Here is some information about how your diet affects your milk. HTH :)

Ok, thanks. Should I be concerned about the sudden change in frequency if it's not curry-related?

I don't know, it could be caused by a number of things- stomach bug maybe? You could ask your HV or GP if you're concerned about it. Do your DTs seem otherwise healthy?

They seem quite happy, smiling a lot etc. I'll see how they are overnight and maybe call the GP if no better. Thanks

Ok, no change, they didn't poo overnight but have both done 3 poos each so far today, thats 8 each in 2 days compared to their usual 1 or 2! Have put a call in to HV and am off to buy some more nappies...
