Is feeding every 3 hours night and day pretty average for a 3 month old ebf baby? Sometimes he needs it before the 3 hours are up but not that often.

He has done a few 5/6hours stretches but not for a while.

Am very tired as running around after 2 other dcs as well and think it may be affecting my supply

Every 3 hours is brilliant. My dd is 7 months and goes about 3 hours between feeds day and night.

My nephew is 20 weeks and has never gone longer than that when he was EBF (she's now mix feeding and has already started solids but at that point he was EBF). I know it killed her.
My DD started going 8hrs with no feed from 4.5 weeks and now regularly goes 10/11hrs but she feeds hourly when she's awake, sometimes twice hourly! Come the end of the day I'm knackered and that's with no other children to look after. My hat is off to you (as it is to my SIL as nephew still wakes regularly in the night, despite FF and solids).

Thanks both. I just wanted a bit of reassurance. I know all dcs are different but when lots of people are saying he should be going longer at night it makes you question yourself.

Difficult thing about bf is that you can't see how much they have had and i do find that hard. He has been putting on weight nicely - due to get him weighed on wednesday so hopefully thst will be extra reassurance.
