DD won't dreamfeed

DD is 4months, generally feeds to sleep for the night 6:30-7 and will often go through til 12/1 before waking again but then might wake twice more before up for the day at 7amish, I'm feeding her when she wakes at the mo as we're co sleeping and otherwise I'll be awake listening to her if I don't feed her back to sleep, will tackle this in a few weeks when we get her cot.

In the meantime in the hopes of making the longest gap happen when I'm actually sleeping, I've attempted dream feeding with both boob and bottle of ebm but if she's not ready she won't take it. DS dreamfed brilliantly so not sure whether to just suck it up and go with her flow, or actually wake her up to feed properly - seems a bit mean! WWYD?

DD wouldn't dream feed either. She would either wake up to much and not want to go back to sleep or not take enough(at lest that's what I assumed as she was BF) so would still wake up at around 1am.

I gave in and just went to bed early, doesn't seem to work for everybaby.

I would give it a go - she may take it if she's a bit awake or she may still not be ready for it. The other thing is that she might not settle well afterwards... but there's only one way to find out :)

Also, don't forget they change really quickly at this age - so I wouldn't give up on dream feeding, she might take well to it in a few weeks?!
