anyone bf and pregnant?

I'm only 6 wks pregnant and DD is 10m and still having three feeds a day. She's been very reticent to drink from a cup so I'm guessing I can't further wean her til she's consistently drinking from a cup or something. I'm keen to have a few months off before bf DC2

Hi soandso. I too am 6 weeks pregnant and still BFing 11m DD 3 or 4 times a day. I'll continue feeding her for a while, but I don't plan to still be BFing her once DC2 is here.

What's your plan to get her feeding less?
Are you hoping to have a bf break before new baby arrives?

I don't really have a plan, maybe just a general phasing out over the next 4-6 months; I hope to have stopped BFing DD at least a couple of months before my due date. I do feel slightly guilty about this as I'd intended to let her self-wean, but I think a little break for me will be welcome.

It also depends on how I'm feeling. I had a terrible pregnancy with DD, from the moment of conception as it turns out! I had the entire spectrum of pregnancy symptoms and very debilitating pelvic girdle pain, so if I feel too unwell to continue I'll stop. However, so far I have no pregnancy symptoms whereas at this point last time I'd been suffering from constant nausea, smell and food aversions for several weeks. I don't feel pregnant at all - very odd!
